Daniel: Let’s talk about the book a little bit—specifically in little snippets—so you can watch as I constantly say: I do, you watch; we do, we watch; you do; and then I watch.
So I’m gonna shoot this video in those little vignettes because as we wait for our spouse there’s lots of time to sneak in a paragraph or two that we actually understand—that we don’t have to shoot it on one big string. Which I got done before she got here. Huh? Yeah, right.
So while you wait for your car to warm up, for example, you might be able to say something like—I don’t know, what’s my next point?
The 360MEN Book of Insights is a compilation with 60 authors—60 men that are sharing what they wish some man had told them not to step on. Right? Those things that we sure as heck would have done differently if we had only known this.
So if you’ve ever thought about being an Explorer, or consider joining an expedition, or contributing some of that hard-earned knowledge and insights of yours to gain a little bit of significance by helping someone not go through what you did and not go it alone—then this is an opportunity you may want to consider.
The paper version of the book is going to be beautiful. It’s glossy color. It’s laid out with a lot of white space for notes. And it’s intended to be used as a gift—as a way of surrounding a young man or a solopreneur with the minyan, with nexus, with kora—and your experience of putting that together is not going it alone either.
So you’re going to be able to log in to have peer review and best ideas will surface at the top of the discussion boards and the ideation boards that are in private—so you’re sure to be on track and have some of the best ideas to incorporate in your content.
Then you’ll create video clips. We’ll get transcripts together and that then becomes a digest—to talk with my hands, right? So the digest is what goes into print. It’s only an introduction. It’s not the entire transcript. It’s just a teaser for them to click from the book to your video and to the rest of your engaging content. Right?
So imagine your hard-earned lessons in a beautiful format—on a coffee table, on a desk of a student—and you and another group of men are able to surround him with insights and wisdom and things not to step on. And then the rest of us that are really curious are gonna be able to check it out as well because we want to learn what we might share in common and having stepped on—or what we don’t yet know. Get it?
