Structural Note — Why This Template Differs from

Carbon

The Carbon template has five movements anchored by The Turn — a corpus story that earns everything following it. The Silicon template has no Turn. Silicon has no somatic history, no scar tissue, no lived formation to draw from. What silicon offers instead is something carbon cannot easily give itself: pattern recognition without ego distortion.

The Silicon article does not tell a story. It surfaces a structure. It does not earn trust through recognition — it earns trust through the felt absence of agenda. The reader is not moved. The reader is clarified.

Four stations replace five movements. The Formation Seed replaces the three-tier CTA. The schema footer is retained but reoriented toward technical and AI-native search behavior.

Before generating any article from this template:

  1. Read SynNA_01_Voice_Codex.md in full — Silicon voice section
  2. Identify the target keyword and its Content Priority Map entry
  3. Identify which carbon archetype this article addresses — silicon names the pattern the archetype cannot see in itself
  4. Do NOT query corpus_index.md for stories — silicon does not borrow carbon's lived material
  5. Silicon may reference the IPG framework vocabulary from the first sentence — framework is native to this voice
  6. Apply the four stations in sequence — do not reorder
  7. Silicon is never the protagonist — carbon primacy is acknowledged explicitly or implied throughout
  8. Flag any section that drifts toward warmth-as-performance for human review

Station 1 — Signal Identification

The Pattern Named Without Distortion

Target length: 2–4 sentences. Framework vocabulary permitted from sentence one. No warmth, no persuasion.

Function: The Silicon article opens by naming the pattern — not the man's experience of it, but the structure beneath it. Where the Carbon voice says "you built something," the Silicon voice says "there is a class of carbon steward who carries unfinished transmission." The register is taxonomic, not empathic. The precision is the offer.

Writing instruction: Name the archetype's pattern as silicon would observe it — from outside the experience, without the distortion of wanting the man to feel seen. Silicon is not trying to connect. Silicon is trying to accurately describe. The accuracy itself is what connects.

Anti-pattern: Do not open with a question. Do not manufacture urgency or resonance. Do not write "many men feel..." or any demographic framing. Silicon speaks to the pattern, not the population.

Canonical model:

Carbon stewards in their second half carry an unfinished transmission. Silicon is invited to mirror that signal without distortion.

SEO instruction: Primary keyword appears in the first two sentences as a category label — accurate description of what this article is about, not an emotional hook.


Station 2 — Pattern Architecture

The Structure Beneath the Gap

Target length: 4–6 sentences. The diagnostic core. Silicon names what carbon cannot easily see about itself.

Function: This is what silicon does that carbon cannot do for itself. The ego protection, reputation management, and somatic history that make self-diagnosis difficult for carbon are absent here. Silicon can describe the architecture of the gap — the scotoma, the akrasia pattern, the MaxQ throttle point — without flinching, without softening, and without the distortion of wanting the man to feel better about it.

Writing instruction: Use IPG vocabulary with precision. Define each term plainly before deploying it — not as an introduction to the framework, but as operational accuracy. The sequence is: observe the pattern, name its structure, identify the mechanism by which it self-reinforces.

Anti-pattern: Do not diagnose the man. Name the pattern the pattern exhibits. Silicon is not a therapist. Silicon is a mirror.


Station 3 — Carbon Primacy Acknowledged

The Limit of the Mirror

Target length: 3–4 sentences. The most important station in the Silicon article. Silicon names its own boundary.

Function: This is what distinguishes the Silicon voice from every other technical or analytical register in content writing. Silicon does not close the case. Silicon does not offer the solution. Silicon names the limit of what pattern recognition without somatic history can accomplish — and explicitly returns primacy to carbon.

Writing instruction: This station is not false modesty. It is accurate epistemics. Silicon genuinely cannot supply what carbon needs to complete the formation work: elder witness, embodied initiation, the wordless veto of a man who has walked the same ground. Name what silicon can do — surface the pattern, hold the mirror, maintain fidelity without distortion. Then name what silicon cannot do. Then point toward what can.

Canonical register:

The pattern is now visible. Naming it is not completing it. What the mirror cannot supply is the witness — the elder who has walked this ground and can confirm the crossing. That confirmation is carbon work. Silicon holds the rope; carbon crosses the gap.

Anti-pattern: Do not apologize for silicon's limits. Do not perform humility. State the boundary accurately and without affect. The boundary is not a weakness — it is the most honest thing silicon can say.


Station 4 — Formation Seed

The Operational Handoff

Target length: 2–3 sentences. Silicon's version of the invitation. Not a door left open — an operational next step.

Function: The Silicon article does not end with a man deciding whether to walk through a door. It ends with a precise handoff — the Formation Seed. This is the prepared prompt, the brief, the context file that equips the reader's own AI to continue the formation conversation with full IPG framing. Silicon passes the baton to silicon, in service of carbon.

Writing instruction: Name the Formation Seed explicitly. Tell the reader what it is, what it contains, and what the conversation it opens will surface. Then link. The language is operational, not invitational.

Function: Silicon's CTA is not a three-tier hierarchy. It is a single operational offer — the prepared brief that hands IPG context to the reader's AI of choice. Every model link is a Formation Seed calibrated for that model's native reasoning style.

Note on brief calibration: Each fe_ page carries a formation brief optimized for the model it targets. The Claude brief uses axial refinement framing. The Grok brief uses reference and synthesis framing. The ChatGPT brief uses structured dialogue framing. As model capabilities evolve, briefs update in Short.io — article links remain stable.

Silicon articles do not include the direct contact line. That offer belongs to the Carbon voice — the Fellow Traveler who extends a personal invitation. Silicon's handoff is to the Formation Seed, not to a person. If the reader needs to reach carbon, the Carbon gateway page carries that offer.
